A four-year starter for Whitfield, Johnson earned All-State honors as a junior in 2009 after leading the Warriors to a berth in the Missouri Class 3 state championship game. The 6’3” Johnson is currently averaging a team-high 17.5 points and 5.4 rebounds while shooting 61 percent from the field. He has just returned to the Whitfield lineup after missing nearly a month of play with an injured ankle. The Warriors will begin Class 3 district play next week as the top seed in the District 5 tournament at Whitfield.
