STL players B.J. Young and Brendan Kelly excel at Five-Star Camp in New Jersey
Local basketball standouts B.J. Young (McCluer North) and Brendan Kelly (Chaminade) were two of the top players at the recent Five-Star Super Session, which was held in Brewster, New Jersey. More than 100 players attended the camp with most of the players from the East Coast.
The 6'3" Young was selected the Most Outstanding Player of the camp as he and the 6'5" Kelly were both selected to play in the Top 20 All-Star Game at the end of the camp.
Young and Kelly were teammates on the St. Louis Gameface team that enjoyed a big summer season, culminating with a fifth-place finish at the Amateur Athletic Union 17U National Championships in Orlando, Florida.
