The East St. Louis Senior High boys basketball team currently has two openings in its schedule for the 2011-12 season. If interested in playing the Flyers, you can contact head coach Ray Coleman (618) 973-0500, Maurice Scott (618) 560-2202 or athletic director Leonard Manley (618) 646-3700.
Malcolm Hill commits to Illinois
Belleville East junior standout Malcolm Hill, Jr. has given a verbal commitment to Bruce Weber and the University of Illinois. It was a pretty good weekend for the local teams, especially the St. Louis Eagles.
