Harris-Stowe State University has signed four players this spring, including former Webster Groves standout and Division II transfer Justin Taylor to lead a talented group of newcomers for head coach Phillip Hunt.

The 6'0" Taylor is joined in the recruiting class by guard Mylin Jordan of Class 3 state champion Cardinal Ritter, guard Donald "Duck" Davis from Vashon High and Indian Hills Community College and NCAA Division I transfer Drummond Jones from Mississippi Valley State.

Taylor was a three-year starter at the University of Missouri Science & Technology in Rolla. Taylor was the Great Lakes Valley Freshman of the Year in 2007. He averaged 15 points a game as a sophomore and 12 points a game as a junior. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.

The 5'11" Jordan was an exciting player who helped lead Ritter to the state championship. One of the area's toughest players to stop off the dribble, Jordan averaged 16.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists while shooting 57 percent from the field.

The 6'1" Davis played at Vashon before starting his collegiate career at junior college powerhouse Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa.

The 6'5" Jones is a native of Indianola, Miss. He played the 2009 season for Division I Mississippi Valley State.
