Future Billiken Dwayne Evans to play in Demetrious Johnson All-Star Game on Saturday
SLU Billikens fans will get another opportunity to see Chicago area standout and future Billiken Dwayne Evans in action on Saturday at the Demetrious Johnson Charitable Foundation/Marriott Union Station National High School All-Star Game.
The game will be played on Saturday night at Harris-Stowe State University at 7 p.m. The 6'5" Evans will play on a team of National All-Stars that will play against a team of players from the St. Louis metro and surrounding areas.
Saturday's game will mark the second time that Evans has come down to the Lou to compete in an all-star game. The former Neuqua Valley High standout played in the Dr. Pepper Midwest All-Star Classic in March in a game was also played at Harris Stowe. Evans scored 20 points while putting on an impressive display for the Billiken faithful.
I would love to see a lot of Billiken fans in the house to greet young Mr. Evans once again.
