Amherst, MA- The Billikens conclude their two-game road swing with an Atlantic 10 Conference contest at the University of Massachusetts today at the Mullins Center. Both teams are among the five that are tied for first in the A-10 league standings with 4-2 records. SLU is 16-4 overall while UMass is 15-5 with a perfect 10-0 record at home. Tip off is at 1 p.m.

Desirae Ball gets A-10 Rookie of the Week honor

SLU redshirt freshman was selected as the Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Week for women's basketball. The Cincinnati native averaged 12 points in two games last week while shooting 46 percent from the field. She scored a season-high 16 points in the Bills' 81-55 victory over Nebraska-Omaha on Jan. 3. Ball is averaging 9.1 points a game, which is currently second on the team.

Bills top GW 78-58

The Billikens snapped their two-game losing streak with a 78-58 victory over George Washington in their Atlantic 10 Conference home opener on Saturday night at the Chaifetz Arena. SLU improved to 13-3 (1-1 in A-10) play with the victory in front of the largest crowd of the season of 9,021....
