The Billikens have received a commitment from standout small forward Jared Drew from Indianapolis, IN. Drew's commitment is reported by the website, Heardthisblog.com. The 6'6" Drew attends Cathedral High School.

ESPN and tournament organizers today released the pairings for the fifth-annual 76 Classic, which will be played Nov. 24-27 at the Anaheim (Calif.) Convention Center, adjacent to Disneyland. Saint Louis opens the tournament on Thanksgiving (Nov. 24) against Boston College. Tip time is slated for 1 p.m. (St. Louis time) and will be televised on ESPNU. ...SLU announces open practice schedule
Saint Louis University head men's basketball coach Rick Majerus today announced nine open practices in August as the Billikens prepare for their five-game exhibition trip in Canada. The open practices will be held at either Chaifetz Arena or Chaifetz Pavilion and are free to attend.
