Darius MIles to work out with San Antonio Spurs this week

NBA writer Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News is reporting on his Twitter account that former East St. Louis Senior High star Darius Miles has been brought in by the San Antonio Spurs for a workout this week.

 The 6'9" Miles is still looking for a new NBA home as he tries to come back from his microfracture surgeries on his knee that have cut short his once-promising career. Miles attended a mini-camp with the Charlotte Bobcats during the spring.

 Miles, 28, was a former No. 3 overall pick in the NBA Draft in 2000 after a stellar prep career at East Side. During his NBA career, he has played with the Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Portland Trailblazers and Memphis Grizzlies.
